About Us

We are a team of consumers that combined our experience together to offer fellow consumers a new and reasonable alternative to resolving their debt.  We have been employed by debt collection agencies and debt settlement companies, we've personally been through credit counseling, we've been on the verge of bankruptcy, and we have personally negotiated our own debts.  Throughout our individual struggles we have grown tired and weary of the abusive debt storm, so we sought financial education and researched laws.

We've seen the debt storm from all angles.  It's not pretty.  Current statistics show that consumer credit card debt adds up to over $879 billion and 97 percent of consumers seeking credit counseling are still unable to repay their debts.  The plan of action we have created takes into account all the possibilities and applies the most logical alternative for consumers with financial hardships.  We call this plan of action "Debt Resolution".  This is not debt settlement, credit counseling or credit repair.  It is a comprehensive process of using the consumer protection laws to our benefit, where possible, and also utilizing negotiation skills to resolve the rest of the debts that would otherwise plague us as consumers and possibly cause us to file bankruptcy.

There is a growing trend of ever-increasing debt in our country.  As a result, alternative answers to just paying the debt or filing bankruptcy grow in popularity, such as debt settlement, as well as the number of companies offering professional debt settlement programs. These companies offer to negotiate with your creditors to let you pay off your debt for less than you owe and charge you to do it.  They typically charge about 10-20% of your total debt amount, and won't let you sign up with them unless you have at least $10,000 in debt.  And they will only help you with your unsecured debts.  In our experience, if the client (debtor) isn't calling the settlement company on a regular basis to check the status of their negotiations, then negotiations won't be made.  It's kind of like "out of sight, out of mind".

Other popular alternatives that consumers turn to for help are credit counseling, credit repair services and consolidation loans.  A lot of companies offering these so-called "helpful" services are just preying on a consumer's dire circumstances.  Most often, they don't actually help the consumer, and they leave them in a worse predicament than where they started.

By being armed with the right information, you can resolve ALL of your own debts, be debt free in the same amount of time or less, AND with a clean credit report.

We will provide you with the right information and your overall better choice...

"Weathering Debt" is much less expensive than the service fees charged by other "debt-help" companies. It is only a one-time payment of $29.95 (versus the $1,000 minimum you will pay a settlement company!)

You remain entirely in control of your debt resolution process and finances.  A typical "debt-help" company will want to you disclose all of your personal information including your social security number, all of your credit card and bank account information, your income and your personal financial information. They will also have you sign a power of attorney granting them access and control over your process.  They will then take control and tell you what you need to do with your money.  Some  companies even expect you to deposit your savings into an account set up and controlled by their company.

By controlling your own debt resolution process, you keep your personal business to yourself, alleviating the potential of the third-party "debt-help" company misplacing your personal, sensitive information or a disgruntled employee stealing your information and committing fraud in your name - making you an identity theft victim.

Going through your debt resolution process is a learning experience and while resolving your debts, you will learn a lot about personal finance, budgeting, prioritizing and how the credit and debt collection systems work. You will also be less likely to fall into the same debt traps as before because you will be aware of the pitfalls and will likely not want to go back to the way things were before finding the freedom and peace that comes from being in control of your financial life.
